Responsible for assisting Facilities Manager with maintenance of all buildings and equipment owned and/or operated by Encompass, assuring that they are properly maintained to provide a safe, clean and orderly environment for children. This individual will perform general maintenance tasks at all of Encompass’s centers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Carry out maintenance requests as scheduled or directed by the Facilities Manager
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues
- Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry
- Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds
- Ability to safely operation lawn and snow removal equipment
- Support the Encompass mission, demonstrating professionalism and confidentiality in all encounters

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of related experience in facilities maintenance preferred
- Advanced knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques
- Demonstrated communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license
