Job Description
Experienced Specialist within the Facilities Industrial Repair & Maintenance job family. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Collaboration & Interaction: Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.

Qualifications
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good verbal and written communication, and basic math skills.
- Strong problem-solving and workload prioritization.
- Valid state driver’s license and certification on all assigned industrial lifts.
- Proficient in the use of all hand tools, including normal carpentry and mechanical tools.
- Working knowledge of basic electricity, plumbing, and welding.
- Good close vision and depth perception skills.
- Ability to contribute successfully as part of a team.
- Positive can-do attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in high noise areas and wear appropriate hearing protection devices.
- Ability to mount/dismount forklift utilizing three points of contact (two hands and one foot).
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle while maintaining focus on safe driving and avoiding all distractions when behind the wheel, especially cell phones.
- Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch.
- Ability to work in an elevated ambient temperature environment.
- Ability to utilize stepladders, extension, and fixed ladders.
- Ability to work at elevated work heights, mezzanines, roofs, decks, and/or mobile working platforms.
- The position requires the ability to regularly stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.
