We are currently seeking a Facilities Technician III to join our Facilities team and help maintain the exceptional standards our guests expect.
This position is responsible for maintaining equipment and physical structures, troubleshooting electrical problems and makes the necessary repairs to audio/video, lighting system, HVAC system, wastewater treatment and other electrical equipment. This role requires advanced mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, as well as the ability to lead by example and support junior technicians.

QualificationsUnder general supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of the Casino resort property.
High School Diploma or GED required. Prior work experience in the field of building maintenance and a specialty area i.e. electrical, HVAC, required. Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California. Tribal preference will be given to qualified applicants

About Quechan Indian Tribe

Located at 350 Picacho Road in Winterhaven, California, the administration building sits atop Indian Hill overlooking Paradise Casino to the East and the construction of the new Fort Yuma Health Care Center to the North.

Here you will find the offices of the President, Vice-President, and the Tribal Council Members. The Tribal Chambers is also located within the building where meetings with the Tribal Council are held.

Also located within the administration building are the offices for the Tribal Administrator, Tribal Council Secretary, Comptroller, Human Resources, Payroll, Revenue Distribution, Finance, our Grants Writer/Coordinator and Records Retention.

The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 pm. to 5:00 p.m. The offices are closed between 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch break.
