High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
Up to 1 year of Environmental Services, Maintenance, Facilities, or related experience. (Required)
Infection prevention and cleaning procedures.
Basic carpentry, plumbing, and maintenance skills.
Safe operation of hand and power tools.
Ability to read work orders and complete documentation.
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment through a combination of environmental services duties and basic building maintenance activities. Performs cleaning, sanitation, waste removal, linen distribution, minor repairs, and facility support services while ensuring compliance with infection prevention, safety, and customer service standards.
Cleans, disinfects, and maintains areas, including furniture, equipment, hard floors, and carpets, in accordance with established environmental services and infection prevention procedures.
Collects and disposes of trash, manages linen distribution and inventory, and follows all required PPE, safety, and infection prevention standards.
Performs minor facility repairs and maintenance, including replacing light bulbs, repairing door hardware, installing wall-mounted items, completing paint touch-ups, and assembling or repairing furniture.
Completes basic plumbing and electrical tasks within the scope of training, such as addressing minor faucet or drain issues and replacing approved fixtures, while referring work requiring a licensed or skilled trade professional.
Conducts routine facility inspections, identifies safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance concerns, and promptly reports or documents issues requiring additional support.
Supports facility operations and emergency readiness, including office moves, furniture relocation, spill cleanup, emergency codes, and other activities necessary to maintain a clean, safe, functional, and welcoming environment.
