
The role will help our Facilities and Support Services division with building workforce pipelines for our teams. Current pipelines of focus are for Facilities Maintenance, Planning Design and Construction, and Security Services with potential for pipelines to expand in the future. The role will be collaborating with leaders to foster internal growth, such as upskilling current team members interested in learning facilities trades, in-house construction, and entry level security positions. This role will help with collaboration with external education partners throughout the state of Michigan where team members can go for additional training and development as well as recruit new team members to our system. Community partnerships will be critical to our recruitment success to build these workforces, and this role will be tasked with building and maintaining those relationships. As we get internships, apprenticeships, and pipeline programming underway, the role may take on additional projects to manage as capacity allows.
Occasional travel to set up education and community partnerships in Corewell Health East and South regions.
Oversees small to medium sized, multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts. These projects may be a portion or phase of a larger project or program.
Coordinates project work including project plans and schedules, and completes projects on time and within budget. Analyzes and documents, processes, procedures and outcomes to seek continuous improvement. Assesses resource requirements for project tasks and works with leaders of functional areas and subject matter experts to meet project plan deliverables.
Communicates, collaborates, networks and acts as a consultant to stakeholders/business partners in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources.
Serves as a liaison for projects between various departments within the system.
Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project management.
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
2 years of relevant experience of applicable business function experience or other related experience
2 years of relevant experience of related experience, preferably in project management
