The schedule will be approximately 6 to 8 hours per week, primarily on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The preferred schedule is 6 hours on Wednesdays. However, if the selected candidate prefers to split the schedule over two days, the hours may be scheduled as 4 hours on Wednesday and 4 hours on Thursday.
Hiring rate: $20.00 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Support Assistant provides hands-on support for the day-to-day cleanliness, organization, setup, and readiness of Linc’s office, common areas, patios, parking areas, and shared workspaces. This position helps ensure that indoor and outdoor spaces are clean, stocked, organized, safe, and welcoming for staff members and visitors.
This role is focused on general workplace support, cleanliness, organization, and readiness. It does not perform technical building maintenance or repairs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support general workplace readiness by helping keep indoor and outdoor common areas clean, organized, stocked, and welcoming.
- Clean tables, shared surfaces, patios, walkways, and other common areas as needed.
- Sweep patios, walkways, entrances, and parking lot areas and remove litter, debris, trash, or recycling as needed.
- Assist with light outdoor upkeep, including pulling weeds and helping maintain a neat appearance around entrances, patios, walkways, and parking areas.
- Stock and organize office, kitchen, restroom, and other workplace supplies.
- Receive, sort, put away, and organize supplies, deliveries, and stored materials.
- Report larger cleaning, safety, repair, vendor, or building concerns to the appropriate staff member or supervisor.

- Work is performed in an office environment and in outdoor areas, including patios, walkways, entrances, parking areas, common areas, conference rooms, kitchens, restrooms, supply rooms, and shared workspaces.

- Work may involve exposure to dust, dirt, cleaning products, trash, recycling, outdoor weather conditions, uneven walking surfaces, and general office activity.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in janitorial support, office support, facilities support, hospitality, property support, or a similar role preferred.
- Experience keeping shared spaces clean, organized, stocked, and ready for use.
- Ability to follow instructions, complete assigned tasks, and communicate concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and safe use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
