Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. is actively searching for a night shift (Mon - Thu - 7:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.) Facilities Supervisor for the Pendleton, SC location. The successful candidate will assist in the planning and execution of maintenance, renovations, and general repairs of grounds, commercial and industrial buildings. Main Objective:

The Facilities Supervisor will assist in the planning and execution of maintenance, renovations, and general repairs of grounds, commercial and industrial buildings. The position entails responding to work orders regarding electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical services as needed to support manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides hands-on supervision and guidance to the facilities and custodial personnel.
  • Utilizes Work order software to organize and maintain work load.
  • Performs frequent evaluations of the Arthrex complex to ensure the highest level of care and appearance.
  • Manages the contractor and vendor relationships and documentation.
  • Fosters a work environment that emphasizes the implementation of quality and safety practices.
  • Assists in maintaining facilities current to federal and state building codes and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintains the time and attendance program for all direct reports and perform employee evaluations.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of direct Supervisory experience in facilities maintenance and care required

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Broad knowledge in electrical, mechanical, HVAC and other building maintenance.
  • Knowledge and working experience with security and life-safety systems.
  • Experience with Property Conservation programs including fire system testing and maintenance.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Advanced knowledge and experience with maintenance tools and machines. Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook. Experience with Auto Cad desirable.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
