Job Description

Wood delivers maintenance and turnaround services for the Ampol Lytton Refinery and is seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor for the upcoming mid-year FCCU shutdown.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing facilities maintenance of a 600-man village, while displaying a “hands-on” approach. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team working on a major refinery event, commencing as soon as possible for approx. 9-10 months to year-end

  • Coordination and support of internal teams to issue and track work orders, execute maintenance work and the restocking of supplies
  • Responsible for external service contractors including cleaners, laundry, canteen provider
  • Direct supervision of on-site cleaning team
  • Assist with escorting any freight movements to moblise & demobilise equipment for the shutdown
  • Supervise installation & de-installation of traffic management and event precinct equipment such as water barriers, fencing etc. as part of logistics plan
  • Coordinate set-up and removal of containers etc. as part of logistics plan
  • Stocktaking of plant, tools & equipment throughout the event, ensuring loss is minimised
  • Assist in auditing of contractor containers and equipment
  • Coordination of furniture distribution throughout the site
  • Assist in forklift operations where required
  • Conduct off-site errands where necessary.
  • Experience in asset, plant, maintenance, and/or logistics coordination
  • Basic systems and admin capability, including asset and maintenance tracking, together with scheduling platforms
  • Understanding of facilities maintenance planning, compliance, and documentation
  • Confident communicator who leads and works well with operational and site-based teams
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, calm under pressure, and accountable
  • Practical, proactive, and safety focused
  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence essential
  • Forklift Licence essential
