Facilities Shift Supervisor - Rivers Casino Pittsburgh

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Shift Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of maintenance activities. As the Facilities Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to company and departmental policies, procedures, and goals. This hands-on position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and well-functioning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develops a comprehensive annual preventive maintenance schedule for all systems and equipment.
• Ensures the training library is up-to-date and conducts regular reviews.
• Manages staffing levels through accurate manpower planning and projection of future requirements.
• Provides hands-on leadership during shifts, working closely with team members.
• Ensures proper training on life systems, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
• Conducts monthly team member meetings to address concerns, review policies, and build teamwork.
• Oversees new team member orientation on company and departmental policies and job duties.
• Maintains equipment, systems, and facilities in compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitors inventory and oversees the completion of work orders efficiently and accurately.
• Fills in for the Manager during their absence.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of facilities/maintenance supervisory or managerial experience.
• Professional certifications or proven experience in Commercial/Industrial buildings preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of all building systems.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices and regulations.
• Technical skills or working knowledge of crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills in English
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Sound judgment, organizational skills, and ability to perform well under pressure.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Understanding and ensuring compliance with ADA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Team player with the ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays.

Certifications:

• Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.

Physical Requirements:

• Extended periods of standing
• Regular bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle
