Position Title: Facilities Reliability Tech 2

Location: Assembly Drive, Rockford, IL 61109

Shift: 3rd Shift

​​Perform advanced facility related preventative maintenance and repairs as a Facility Reliability Technician (FRT),maintainthePharmaceuticalfacilities at a "World Class" level​Apply deductive reasoning and interpret a variety of technical instructionsThere are no direct supervisory responsibilities associated with this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include thefollowingbut other duties may be assigned.

• ​​Support all PCI departments in special and routine service functions such astimelyfacilityrepairs, facilitypreparation forspecial events, etc.​

• ​​To be self-reliant to diagnose and troubleshoot facility related mechanical systems with minimal direction including but not limited to:​

• ​​Repair and preventative maintenance of facility roofs, walls, doors, windows, etc.​

• ​​Repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, lighting, electrical, and plumbing systems.​

• ​​Repair and preventative maintenance of parking lots and exterior grounds.​

• ​​Support the AB facilities as part of the FRT On-Call team.​

• ​​Assistwith snow removal efforts performed by PCIwith regard tosidewalks, snow plowing and salting of parking lots and sidewalks.​

• ​​Adhere to all PCI and cGMP policies, procedures,rulesand regulations.​

• ​​Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Reliability Lead, Maintenance Supervisor,Mangeror Director.​

• This positionmayrequireovertime and/orweekend work.

Required:

• ​​High School Diploma and/or 3-5 years related experience and/or training.​

• ​​Basic Mathematical Skills​

• ​​Basic Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs. ​

• ​​Limited Working Proficiency: The ability to satisfy routine social demands and limited work requirements. The ability to read simple prose, in a form equivalent to typescript or printing, on subjects within a familiar context. ​

• ​​Intermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations. ​

• ​​Mustpossessthe ability to interpret an extensive variety of technicalinstructions.​

• Mustpossessthe ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Preferred:

• ​​Ability to demonstrate attention to detail. ​

• ​​​Preferred MEP Building Trades related experience HVAC emphasis or equivalent with a minimum of

• Three (3) years of facility maintenanceor equivalentexperience.

• ​​​Shouldpossessan understanding of facility maintenance including:

• Predictive facilities maintenance program

• cGMP guidelines

• Water, gas, and electrical utilities

• MEP, Fire protection systems, and electrical generation systems

• HVAC systems, including but not limited to low humidity control systems

For Illinois residents: the hiring rate for this position is $22.15 to $24.92 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
