ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics.

The Manager, Project Management oversees the end-to-end delivery of construction and renovation projects within the regional portfolio—from initiation through design, build, and deployment. This role leads project team members, manages multiple concurrent projects, and ensures the right preconditions are in place (e.g., site readiness, resourcing, budgets). The position handles complex projects with significant budget and risk, with broad impact on products and business results.

Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler Arizona, San Jose and San Diego California, Wilton Connecticut, and Hillsboro Oregon.

Role and responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality project and roadmap execution; identify and implement continuous improvements.

  • Own and drive resource and succession planning; define clear, measurable priorities during roadmap planning.

  • Oversee cross-sector critical paths and risks; proactively mitigate issues.

  • Evaluate and communicate improvements; guide implementation across the total project management system.

  • Own and oversee the project roadmap across multiple processes; keep key stakeholders informed on progress.

  • Apply strong process and organizational knowledge to make decisions at critical program moments.

  • Share and transfer knowledge across project managers and project team members.

  • Translate product and business strategy into actionable projects and programs.

  • Serve as a sparring partner/advisor to regional leadership and project managers.

  • Manage conflicting stakeholder interests and keep stakeholders aligned.

  • Provide direction to project teams; coach and develop project managers, and provide timely feedback.

  • Partner with Business Partners, F&M, REDS, and other departments to define customer needs and secure internal/external resources.

  • Manage, monitor, and report on budgets, forecasts, and financial issues; ensure accountability per company policy.

  • Select, deploy, and manage project managers, project support (including consultants), and contractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Technical) Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3–7 years of experience delivering construction and/or renovation projects, preferably in international high-tech production environments (cleanroom experience preferred).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.

  • Working knowledge of applicable quality standards and relevant legislation.

  • LEAN and PMBOK/PRINCE2 knowledge is a plus.

  • Ability to assess implications of technical choices and guide teams to the best solution.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$154,500-231,750

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
