Job Description

The Facilities Project Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the parts and supply department.
  • Bids out, awards and oversees small, contracted maintenance projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the parts inventory is maintained and kept up to date.
  • Oversees vendors on repairs to make sure that all work is done properly.
  • Responsible for all parking lot maintenance and repairs including asphalt and stripping.
  • Responsible for scheduling all roof inspections and making sure that all repairs are completed.
  • Communicates with all members of the Maintenance department to ensure all supplies and tools are ordered in a timely manner.
  • Keeps all storage and supply areas neat and organized.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • 5 years of experience in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, plastering, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine servicing or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, diagrams, written instructions, schedules, or technical bulletins.
  • Must understand shop level math including concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
  • Must be able to write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge, Microsoft Office; e-mail, word and spreadsheets, and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations skills and be able to communicate with patients and staff.

Preferred:

  • 10+ years’ experience in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, plastering, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine servicing or equivalent.
