Facilities Operations Specialist, under general supervision,coordinatesand monitors routine, preventative, and planned facility maintenance, including mechanical and electrical operations, HVAC, custodial, and landscaping to ensure each building is a comfortable and safe facility for faculty, staff, students, and guests. The facilities operations specialist will serve as the on-site project liaison,as youwouldprovide meaningfulcommunication, training and development, and education to our end users.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of facilitiesand/orproject managementexperienceina medical setting.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field such as Facility Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four years of related experience in facility management, projectmanagementand quality assurance.
Two years of relatedfacilitiesor project managementexperience in amedicalsetting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a medical teaching/research facility or hospital.
Familiar knowledge with facility/construction management software includingAggieWorks,AiM, e-Builder andDesigo.
Familiar knowledge with TAMU facility/ construction management and design protocols.
