Facilities Operations Specialist, under general supervision,coordinatesand monitors routine, preventative, and planned facility maintenance, including mechanical and electrical operations, HVAC, custodial, and landscaping to ensure each building is a comfortable and safe facility for faculty, staff, students, and guests. The facilities operations specialist will serve as the on-site project liaison,as youwouldprovide meaningfulcommunication, training and development, and education to our end users.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of facilitiesand/orproject managementexperienceina medical setting.

Starting Salary: $71,250

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field such as Facility Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Four years of related experience in facility management, projectmanagementand quality assurance.

  • Two years of relatedfacilitiesor project managementexperience in amedicalsetting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a medical teaching/research facility or hospital.

  • Familiar knowledge with facility/construction management software includingAggieWorks,AiM, e-Builder andDesigo.

  • Familiar knowledge with TAMU facility/ construction management and design protocols.
