Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group (JAM) is looking for a full-time Facilities Operations Manager to ensure each of our 15+ venue properties are well-maintained, in compliance with local regulations, and aesthetically appealing to our clients on their special day as well as for group tastings, venue open houses, and tours.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with venue managers, our construction department, and outside vendors regarding venue repairs, maintenance, upgrades, new construction, contracts, and all other matters related to our venues’ physical facilities and grounds.
- Ensure JAM venue property equipment and buildings are kept in excellent condition through maintenance tasks & schedules, and the ordering of equipment, parts, and supplies as needed.
- Manage the construction and facilities team with weekly meetings and collaborate with them on troubleshooting repairs.
- Proactively recommend updates, changes, and modifications to physical properties to remain competitive and appealing to JAM’s clients and potential clients including large projects.
- Manage opening and closing of seasonal venue structures (i.e. tents and winterization of facilities).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of facilities management, including understanding of building construction, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other typical facility functions as well as proficient in understanding contracts and building permits.
- Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience including hiring, training, managing, and developing staff.
- Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced work environment where changing priorities and focus will occur on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Working Conditions
- This position is performed both in a climate controlled indoor office environment and outdoor non-climate-controlled environment.
- Flexible working hours but long hours, especially prior to and during our busy seasons as needed including weekends.
- This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, stand, sit, and walk. Sometimes for long periods of time.
