In our pursuit of excellence within our maritime department, we're seeking individuals who bring a wealth of facilities maintenance, project delivery and commercial expertise to the table for our Facilities Manager position (internally known as Superintendent, Fleet Facilities). Role Overview

Working across the P&O Cruises and Cunard fleets, the Fleet Facilities team maintains guest-facing and back-of-house areas to high standards of condition, safety and guest comfort. The team partners with onboard colleagues, refit teams, contractors, suppliers and brand stakeholders to deliver maintenance and capital works.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Define and deliver fleet-wide hotel and facilities maintenance programmes based on condition, operational requirements and brand standards.
  • Lead facilities projects from scope and planning through to execution, both while ships are in service and during refits.
  • Assess fleet condition and provide technical assurance, using reliable information to inform maintenance and investment decisions.
  • Manage contractors, supply chain partners, maintenance budgets and associated capital expenditure.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A higher education qualification in a facilities, technical, science or engineering-based discipline.
  • Experience managing facilities maintenance within an operational environment.
  • Strong project delivery skills, including the ability to manage quality, timescales, budgets and competing priorities.
  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers, forecasts and capital expenditure with strong commercial discipline.

We offer hybrid working including up to two days from home. The role involves less than 25% travel, with shipboard travel likely.
