As a Facilities Manager with JLL, you'll deliver comprehensive facilities services to operate and maintain the Australia Post enterprise, working within a culture that prioritises collaboration and empowers you to thrive. You'll be allocated an appropriately sized portfolio which may include Tier 1 site coverage and support, providing you with opportunities to strengthen and advance your career toward greater portfolio responsibilities.
This role encompasses designated financial, technical, maintenance, procurement, asset and vendor management programs, along with facilities administration duties in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes. You'll proactively develop and manage relationships with occupiers and clients while contributing to the effective and efficient running of your allocated portfolio, sharing ideas for continuous improvement along the way.
Proactively develop and manage relationships with occupiers and clients to ensure service delivery expectations are exceeded and facilitate works across your portfolio.
Conduct building inspections and complete associated reports within governance timeframes for your allocated portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulations and client contract requirements.
Manage administration and organisation of information for analysis and presentation to the senior management team, delivering clear insights that support decision-making.
Coordinate facilities works with vendors as required, liaising closely with the JLL Projects & Development Services account team to ensure seamless delivery.
Learn and understand the operational and technical requirements of site elements for which JLL is responsible, maintaining current contracts to provide necessary supplies and services.
Support compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards to maintain a safe and compliant environment for all occupants.
Deliver and support facilities-related projects in line with agreed budgets or works plans, ensuring close interaction with affected business units throughout the process.
Proactively manage and monitor Help Desk and service outputs to achieve or exceed standards against agreed key performance indicators and service level targets, reporting regularly to key stakeholders.
Actively encourage an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation and performance excellence across the portfolio, embodying JLL's commitment to collaboration and inclusivity.
A minimum of 3+ years of proven experience working in corporate real estate or facilities-related fields.
Demonstrated aptitude for the interpretation and analysis of numerical data with an ability to extract insights into clear and logical reports with particular attention to detail.
Proficient in the use of the MS Office product suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Strong customer service focus and people skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of client staff and manage diverse demands.
Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems, including internet and email functions.
Current and valid Driver's Licence, as the role requires travel to sites across the allocated portfolio.
Understanding that facilities management services involve the provision of both reactive and routine maintenance across the allocated portfolio, with 24-hour call out and contact requirements.
Tertiary qualifications in Property, Facilities, or trade-related fields (desirable but not mandatory).
Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements, critical facilities and vendor management for specialised services (advantageous).
Understanding of basic technical aspects of property including Mechanical/HVAC systems, Chiller systems, Fire Protection systems and Electrical systems (advantageous).
