Job Description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Responsible for coordination and oversight of building projects, as assigned by Director. Assists with fixed asset purchasing and management of operating group’s capital expenditure budget, energy analysis and all necessary compliance matters. Position focuses on business enhancements and overall cost reductions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
• Manages assigned aspects of building and renovation projects by assuming oversight of independent contractors and in-house Building Services personnel to plan and complete projects.
• General knowledge of basic maintenance tasks
• Identifies and verifies Capital Expense budget requests to assist Director with annual budget proposals. Enhance Continuous Improvement Processes to lower operating costs and decrease new-start costs.
• Participates and manages inspections to ensure all facilities and fleet vehicles comply with all required accreditation and applicable state, federal and local licensure standards.
• Responsible for securing competitive bids for capital improvements/purchases and conveying recommendations to operations.
• Investigates and qualifies vendors, consultants, and private contractors for facility projects and supply for all sites assigned.
• Develops management tools to continuously review and improve energy and utility consumption functions.
• Responsible for working directly with selected vendors to monitor renovations and other capital improvement projects in a project manager capacity.
• Required to be on Call 24/7 for critical incidents, and/or other events as required.
• Performs other duties and activities as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Make decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:

Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or GED required, degree is preferred
• Documented experience in business management including involvement with facility operations & or building projects
