Facilities Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Facilities Manager will provide leadership, direction and coordination to staff within the Hospitality and Maintenance Departments. This position is responsible for managing the areas of buildings and maintenance, environmental services, food and domestic services, telecommunications and IT, procurement and contract management across the Agency.

You will have:

  • To be considered for this position you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, or have a relevant visa allowing you to live and work in Australia with no restrictions. Corryong Health does not undertake visa sponsorship for this role. (essential)
  • Demonstrated high level communication and leadership skills. (essential)
  • Experience in tender preparation and evaluation, asset management and project management skills (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and managing projects (essential)
  • Experience in contract preparation and management (essential)
  • Excellent understanding of quality management and continuous improvement systems (essential)
  • Knowledge of and ability to manage human, economic/ financial, and physical resource management issues (essential)
  • High level conceptual and analytical skills and ability (essential)
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service (essential)
  • Demonstrated drive, commitment, and resilience, within a framework that highly values personal and staff wellbeing (essential)

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
