We are seeking an experienced, proactive and results-driven Facilities Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of our facilities and properties. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all company buildings, infrastructure and grounds are safe, well-maintained, compliant and operating efficiently to support business objectives.

This role requires a hands-on leader with strong project management, budgeting and stakeholder management capabilities who can effectively oversee maintenance programmes, capital projects, security operations and health and safety compliance while driving continuous improvement across all facilities.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As Facilities Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all company facilities and properties.
  • Developing and implementing preventative and corrective maintenance programmes.
  • Planning, coordinating and overseeing renovations, construction projects and capital improvements.
  • Managing maintenance schedules for building systems, including air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and security systems.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Managing vendors, contractors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Preparing and managing annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Overseeing security operations.
  • Managing security service contracts and responding to security-related incidents.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable building, health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Developing and maintaining emergency response and disaster preparedness plans.
  • Coordinating traffic management systems, signage and pedestrian safety measures throughout company properties.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to long-term facilities planning and sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the Facilities team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience in facilities management, property management, construction management or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing building maintenance programmes, renovations and capital projects.
  • Experience preparing and managing operational and capital budgets.
  • Experience managing contractors, vendors and service providers.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies and ensuring statutory compliance.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, health and safety requirements and emergency preparedness procedures.
