
Role: Facilities Management (FM) Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Role purpose:
To manage and oversee the end-to-end facilities management operations across ADIB’s portfolio (branches, offices, data centers, and ATMs), ensuring optimal service delivery, regulatory compliance, cost efficiency, and alignment with ADIB’s operational and sustainability objectives.
Key accountabilities of the role:
Facilities Operations Management:
Oversee daily FM operations across all ADIB locations (hard and soft services).
Ensure service delivery is in line with agreed SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
Monitor CAFM/IFMS systems for service requests, asset management, and performance tracking.
Ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues and operational disruptions.
Vendor & Contract Management:
Manage outsourced FM service providers and contractors.
Ensure compliance with contractual scope, SLAs, and performance KPIs.
Conduct regular performance reviews, site inspections, and audits.
Support tendering, RFPs, contract renewals, and cost optimization initiatives.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with UAE regulations (OSHAD, NCEMA) and ADIB internal standards.
Lead HSE implementation including risk assessments, incident reporting, and corrective actions.
Ensure valid certifications (fire safety, civil defense, etc.) across all sites.
Support audits (CBUAE, Internal Audit) and closure of related action points.
Asset & Lifecycle Management:
Maintain accurate asset registers and lifecycle plans.
Plan preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
Support CAPEX planning and execution (fit-outs, refurbishments, upgrades).
Ensure optimal utilization and reliability of assets.
Sustainability & ESG Initiatives:
Drive sustainability initiatives (energy efficiency, waste management, water conservation).
Support ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, 41001, 45001).
Monitor and report on environmental KPIs (energy usage, recycling rates, carbon footprint).
Financial & Budget Management:
Develop and manage FM operating budgets (OPEX & CAPEX).
Monitor cost performance and identify savings opportunities.
Validate invoices and ensure alignment with delivered services.
Business Continuity & Emergency Response:
Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and emergency response readiness.
Ensure preparedness for incidents (fire, system failure, security events).
Coordinate with internal stakeholders during crisis situations.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (ADIB business, IT, Security, HR, Procurement).
Ensure service alignment with business needs and customer experience.
Provide regular reporting and dashboards to senior management.
Coordinator skills / technical knowledge, technical competencies required for this role:
Technical Competencies:
Basic to intermediate knowledge of building services engineering (MEP)
Understanding of maintenance processes in commercial or corporate facilities
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

Qualifications & experience:
This position is for UAE Nationals only.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, or Engineering discipline
3-6 years of experience in facilities, engineering, or technical operations
