Dut ies & respons ib ilities:

• Del ivery of pro acti ve mai ntena nce a nd stat utory c omplia nce ac ross their ma na ged port folio
• Effec tive ma na gement of pr oper ty consu ltants and contract ors.
• Effec tive c ommunicat ion with all st ak ehol ders
• Ens ure complia nce w ith all rele va nt st atut ory a ut horit ies a nd g ood en gi ne eri ng practi ces in re lati on to mai ntena nce of the pr ope rty structu re, façade, fit ti ngs, fi nis hes a nd s ervices ac ross the p ortf ol io
• Ens ure ce rtificat ion is obta ined f or all es sential ser vi ces and the ti mely prep arati on of the an nual Fire Safe ty St at ement or other rel eva nt docu mentat ion as stip ulat ed by the l ocal aut hor it y
• Ens ure JLL s yst ems for c omplia nce with Envi ronmental and W orkp lace Health a nd Safe ty req uir ements inc ludi ng c ontr ac tor inducti on, the prep arati on of s ite -specific risk ma na gement pla ns a nd safe work me thod s tat eme nts are met
• Ensure Contractor meetings are scheduled at a minimum quarterly with contractor performance assessment and Risk Management key focus areas.
• Conduct a periodic review of all work practices to ensure that workplace environment conditions comply with Workplace Health and Safety legislation. Other ad hoc tasks that are reasonably requested for the role of a Facilities Manager.
• Assist with leave cover when other team members are on leave as reasonably requested.
• Attendance at team meetings.

Performance objectives:

• Ensure effective and efficient management of all property services and other works required to be carried out within the property.
• Undertake monthly inspections of managed buildings and plant to determine the extent, priority and safety aspects of any repair works required with the inspection clearly documented.
• Ongoing management of all specialist contractors to ensure they comply with their contract terms and conditions and nominated scope of works.
• Im pl ement ati on and mai ntena nce of the JLL Pla nned Pr event ati ve Mai nt ena nce Syst em and other in format ion data ba ses.
• Im pl ement ati on and mai ntena nce of fire and es senti al ser vice s, p ublic lia bility and other safe ty a nd envi ronmental i nitiat ives.
• Active in vol ve ment in all pro per ty and J LL S ustai na bili ty pro gr am i nitiativ es.
• Ass ist in the prep arat ion of ten der a nd c ont ract doc ument ati on, i ncl udi ng obtai ni ng ten der pric ing f or all w orks a nd ser vices ac ross ma na ged p ropert ies as re quired by the Managing Agency A greeme nt a nd in acc or da nce w ith estab lis hed req ui re ments.

Employee specification:

• Trade or other Tertiary qualifications are desirable but relevant experience will be favourably considered.
