Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician II
Reports to: Director, Safety & Loss Prevention
Location: Goleta, CA (In-Office)

The Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you’ll support the day-to-day maintenance and operations of our corporate office environment. This entry-level role is responsible for routine maintenance, minor repairs, and assisting with workplace services to ensure a safe, functional, and professional workspace. You’ll also provide event support, including room setup and breakdown, to enhance the employee and guest experience. Your contributions will help drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across the facility.

Your Impact

  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting offices, and minor plumbing repairs

  • Conduct daily inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns

  • Complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner

  • Set up and break down conference rooms, furniture, and equipment for meetings/events

  • Assist with vendor/catering setups and breakdowns

  • Ensure rooms are clean, organized, and ready for scheduled use

  • Receive, organize, and stock maintenance supplies, furniture, and office materials

  • Track inventory levels and notify supervisor of low stock or replenishment needs

  • Assist with delivery coordination, storage organization, and material movement across the facility

  • Respond to employee requests for maintenance or workspace adjustments

  • Support office moves, reconfigurations, and workstation setups

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in all common areas

  • Follow safety procedures and company policies during all maintenance activities

  • Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, or compliance concerns

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with building and safety regulations

Who You Are

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required; basic trade certifications optional

  • Bring 0–2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, general labor, or similar field

  • Experience in a corporate office environment is a plus

  • Possess basic knowledge of building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry)

  • Able to use hand and power tools safely

  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills

  • Communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service

  • Follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
