This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Work On
As a key member of our team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations by:
Performing preventative maintenance and repairs across building systems and equipment
Troubleshooting and fixing plumbing issues (leaks, fixtures, piping)
Handling basic electrical work (outlets, switches, lighting, minor wiring)
Completing drywall repairs, patching, and painting to keep the facility looking its best
Supporting carpentry and light fabrication projects
Assisting with installation and maintenance of equipment and infrastructure
Responding quickly to maintenance requests and work orders
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Partnering with vendors and contractors when needed
You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of facilities maintenance or related experience preferred
Working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical systems, drywall repair, and painting
Basic fabrication skills (cutting, assembling, modifying materials)
General knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance practices
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as needed (up to 50 lbs)
Willingness to work flexible hours if needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HVAC systems (troubleshooting or light maintenance)
Forklift or equipment operation experience (if applicable)
Familiarity with Maximo or maintenance tracking systems
This is a Day shift opportunity – Monday – Friday; 7:00am – 3:30pm
