Perform simple, complex and intricate electromechanical repair. Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventative maintenance functions. Ability to make simple parts on Mill, Lathe, Drill press and manual press break. General knowledge of OSHA/Safety requirements. Work independently to written instructions and established guidelines. This position requires exercising independent judgment. This position works under the immediate supervision of the Manager. Additional instructions may be provided by the Manager, as applicable.

Job Duties

  • Perform simple, complex and intricate electromechanical repair and assembly operations.
  • Operate and tend to light to medium duty machines.
  • Perform machine set-ups.
  • Assist in the training and cross training of others.
  • May be assigned scrap reporting duties.
  • Performance of Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Annual Preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Perform Machining operations on Mill, Lathe, Drill press and Manual Press Break.
  • Demonstrate general Knowledge of OSHA/Safety requirements.
  • May be required to collect test and/or calibration results and record them manually or electronically.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Work Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of applicable best business practices and procedures for fabrication and assembly environments.
  • Use jigs, fixtures, soldering irons, crimping tools, small manual and power hand tools.
  • Ability to use standard inspection tools.
  • Ability to solder.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Use scales, bag sealers, tape dispensing and other equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma and/or equivalent work experience is desired.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
