Operate and maintain Waste Water treatment and building HVAC.
Maintain Compressor systems and Chilled Water systems.
Repair and maintain Building Electrical systems and Plumbing systems.
Respond to emergency repair request.
Assist with equipment relocation and installation.
Understand and comply with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures.
Understand and employ all required safety guards and devices.
Utilize proper Authorized Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
Comply with confined space entry program.
Sets the example of compliance and safety issues.
Drives continuous improvement in quality and safety.
Responsible for communicating when there is an issue affecting the Environment, Health, Safety or Quality to his / her respective Manager.
Position will primarily be on first shift, but may on occasion, need to work extended hours, or on the off shift if situations arise. Technician will document work in our current work order system, look up parts via equipment manual and SAP system as well as order parts needed by filling out proper part request forms
High School Diploma or GED, courses and certifications in industrial or mechanical technologies, or post-secondary technical training, maintenance mechanic training, or equivalent combination of education and on-the-job experience (minimum 2 years experience).
Excellent communication and motor skills, hand dexterity, ability to stand for long periods, walk stoop, kneel, move/push +40lbs., good or corrected vision and hearing, ability to work well with others
