
We’re Hiring: Maintenance Technician (Multi-Site, Full-Time)
Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team, supporting a range of modern, busy environments across multiple sites.
This is a varied, practical role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, working across different locations, and being part of a team that keeps critical facilities running smoothly.

The Facilities team plays a key role in ensuring these environments operate safely and efficiently every day.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for day-to-day building and property maintenance across multiple sites, responding to helpdesk requests, coordinating contractors, and supporting both planned and reactive works.
The Facilities team also supports the business during occasional critical incidents (such as power or water issues), so the ability to remain calm, organised, and adaptable is important. Out-of-hours work may be required at times and is planned where possible.
