About the position:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of buildings and equipment, ensuring a safe and functional environment. This includes tasks like preventative maintenance, responding to repair requests, and maintaining various building systems. They may also be involved in coordinating with contractors, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine checks and maintenance on building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems, to prevent potential issues
Diagnose and repair malfunctions in building equipment, machinery, and systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, inventory, and safety logs
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and procedures
Collaborate with other maintenance staff, contractors, and building occupants to address maintenance needs
Respond to after-hours emergencies and take appropriate action to resolve issues
May include landscaping, minor carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks

Salary Range Disclosure The pay rate range for this position is $20.00 to $45.00 an hour, not including any variable pay. The total compensation package may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other variable pay components. The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
