Join Casey’s in shaping a better future for our communities, guests, and team members as a Facilities Maintenance Tech! The Facilities Maintenance Tech provides general preventative maintenance and repairs to building premises and warehouse equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs minor repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services. Advises supervisor immediately if additional work is needed.
- Repairs and replaces parts and components on warehouse equipment, such as conveyor wrappers, air compressors, etc.
- Repairs or rebuilds warehouse racks, decking, etc.
- Assists in the repair and maintenance of various components for all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, according to established standards under direct supervision of a trained team member.
- Test and evaluate performance of equipment; repairs or replaces defective valves, thermostats, and other parts.
- Assists technicians in the completion of project work.
- May also include the following: light exterior ground duties such as exterior trash pickup, light pruning and plant maintenance (both interior and exterior). Other seasonal exterior projects as needed.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.

Compensation:
Starting pay range: $20.70 – 27.25 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, instructions, safety data sheets and other safety information required for proper performance of the work.
- Ability to read and comprehend preventive maintenance manuals for equipment and systems
- General knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for mechanical, electrical,
- General knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting practices and procedures.
- General knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and mechanical trades' work.
- Work is primarily performed within and outside the building complex setting.
- Will need to be available for after-hours calls.
