
Facilities Maintenance Services Manager

Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Services Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative Saint Louis Maintenance team in Hazelwood, MO.
This position will lead a diverse team within facilities and maintenance & contracted services. You will lead and manage employees with a variety of specialized craft skills to include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), Power Distribution Systems and boiler operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, develop, and motivate employees
Promote and maintain a healthy safety culture
Maintain/improve service culture and improve the efficiency of the organization
Collaborate with multiple business partners, other sites, and Facilities service teams
Specific services expected to lead: maintenance teams (self-performing or supplier based), customer interface activities, asset renewal strategy efforts
Lead diverse teams, initiatives, and projects to create a significant change in how service delivery is performed with demonstrated improvement to cost and quality
Lead conflict management and team collaboration; develop talent and hold candid conversations
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners, and direct reports
Promote employee engagement and build an organizational culture that fosters safety and quality performance
Improve employee satisfaction and retention of our skilled workforce

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
3+ years of experience working with asset reliability
Experience managing the installation, and operation of power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers and distribution panels
Experience developing and implementing maintenance programs to maximize system reliability and minimize downtime
Experience leading troubleshooting and fault analysis to quickly resolve power distribution issues
Experience ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards and Boeing’s quality requirements
Experience managing or leading in a union environment
Experience with safety regulations and quality standards
Self-starter; ability to demonstrate competencies in conflict and crisis management, collaboration, process improvement, people development

Pay Range: $119,000 - $161,000
