Job Location: Bellflower, CA 90706
Salary Range: $23.00 - $24.00 Hourly
This is a Part-Time position, working Monday - Friday, from 3:00PM - 7:00PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine janitorial duties including emptying trash cans of the health centers, and maintaining all restrooms when required.
- Evening and Weekend availability
- While maintaining restrooms, ensure all equipment is in working condition and ensure paper towel and soap dispenser are regularly refilled.
- Help with medical waste disposal and separating trash between biohazard and non-biohazard.
- Perform housekeeping duties in exam rooms such as removing trash and dust from exam tables, walls, scales, countertops, lamps, stools and other medical equipment.
- Maintain the storage area to ensure that it is clean and neat.
- Assist in cleaning up of patient or staff spillage.
- Inspects buildings, grounds, and equipment of unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
- Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintains a clean, safe working environment.
- Possesses and maintains a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.
- Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
- Ability to report to work as scheduled and on time
- Transportation coverage as needed
- Assist all staff with their facility maintenance needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Min. one year of general maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently or cooperatively as a member of a team to complete work on schedule according to quality standards.
- Ability to lift or bend repeatedly, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Other Requirements
- Subject to a criminal background check prior to employment
- Valid California Driver License and automobile insurance coverage
- COVID vaccinations, TB and annual Influenza vaccine to be renewed every year
- Pre-employment physical clearance
