Job Description
U.S. Facilities, Inc., an integrated facility management company, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator / Technician for our Warren, OH location. This role serves as a bridge between facility maintenance coordination and hands-on technical support. This position assists with scheduling, tracking, and coordinating maintenance activities while also performing union approved light maintenance and minor repair tasks throughout the facility. The role supports daily operations by ensuring work orders, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, and facility repairs are completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and track preventive maintenance activities and work orders.
• Assist with scheduling contractors, vendors, and internal maintenance staff.
• Perform basic union approved maintenance repair tasks and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Conduct frequent facility inspections and identify maintenance deficiencies or safety concerns.
• Update CMMS/work order systems with status notes, completion details, and documentation.
• Support inventory management for maintenance supplies and parts.
• Communicate building occupants and management regarding maintenance activities and service requests.
• Assist with emergency response and after-hours maintenance issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and building regulations.
• Support project coordination for small facility improvement projects.
• Will support two facilities that are 12 miles apart.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical/trade school or related facility maintenance experience preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities operations, or related field.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
• Experience using CMMS or work order management systems preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
