The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is seeking a skilled, journeyman-level Facilities Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator to join our Facilities Management team. This role is ideal for an experienced trades professional who takes pride in high-quality work, values consistency and stability, and wants to apply their skills in a mission-driven public service environment.
You'll play a critical, hands-on role in maintaining and repairing state facilities that serve Iowans every day-working independently, solving complex mechanical issues, and coordinating workacross multiple building systems.
As a journeyman-level maintenance professional, you will:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Subject to call-in, on-call rotation, overtime, and occasional travel)
