Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Associate
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $18/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift
We are seeking a reliable Facilities Maintenance Associate to support cleanliness, organization, and general maintenance within a manufacturing environment. This role combines janitorial duties with hands-on support for basic repairs, assembly tasks, and material handling.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning of production and facility areas
Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces
Assist with assembling shop items such as tables, fans, and other equipment
Support maintenance team with basic repairs and facility upkeep
Use hand tools for assembly and minor repair work
Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment as needed
Assist with general labor tasks across the facility
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications
Previous janitorial or facilities maintenance experience preferred
Experience using hand tools for assembly and basic repairs
Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
Ability to work independently and support multiple departments
Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Capable of standing, bending, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
