Position: Maintenance Assistant

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Position

The Facilities Maintenance Assistant will be helping with a variety of facilities maintenance projects

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Conducts routine maintenance to Warehouse and Greenhouse facilities
• Assists in preparing and building fixtures for tradeshows
• Acts as backup to box truck drivers if applicable
• Assists shipping and receiving team when time allows

Requirements

Specific Skills & Requirements

• Requires basic construction knowledge
• Basic HVAC knowledge a plus
• Greenhouse maintenance experience desired
• Previous experience driving a box truck
• Ability to pay attention to the smallest details
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work hard and under the pressure of deadlines
• Desire for growth in a fast-paced organization
• Bilingual a plus
