Position Title: Facilities Maintenance
Position Purpose:
The Infrastructure team supports the overall vision, mission, and values of Mayfair. Our mission is to improve people’s lives, one focused image and one caring, compassionate human touch at a time. To accomplish this, we must provide and monitor state-of-the-art technology and facilities. The Infrastructure team is responsible for the upkeep and accreditation of Mayfair’s diagnostic imaging equipment and facilities. The team also oversees and monitors all technical aspects of our clinical staff’s performance subsequent to image and/or exam quality.
This position will contribute by ensuring the proper operations and maintenance of all of Mayfair’s facilities.
Reporting
The Facilities Maintenance role reports directly to the Facilities and Construction Project Manager.

Responsibilities
• Aid with all facility maintenance and repairs to ensure proper systems operation
• Assist with troubleshooting on facility issues and advise on best course of action
• Help source and supply miscellaneous items needed by the clinics and other Mayfair locations
• Assist in handyperson duties or oversee handyperson duties to ensure timely completion
• Provide support as needed to other members of the Infrastructure team.
• Provide support as required for accreditation processes with the applicable provincial college (CPSA, CPSS)
• Provide support for Occupational Health and Safety processes as required.
• Actively participating in making the workplace safe for themselves and others through cooperation and awareness, as required by policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Any other duties assigned to provide support for the improvement of the organization or department.
Qualifications
• High school diploma is required
• Experience with the construction industry and/or building maintenance/operations is an asset
• Good working knowledge of all construction trades including electrical, plumbing, structural, and HVAC
• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with radiologists, management, employees, and clients
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Innovative and willingness to learn new skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and personal transportation that can be used for work.
• A copy of your standard driver’s abstract is required if selected for an in-person interview..
Working Environment
• Normal movements of twisting, bending, reaching, and using hands and arms in completing construction and administrative tasks
• Involves some lifting up to 23 kilograms and light manual labour
• Good understanding of ergonomics
• Must be prepared to work flexible hours as required to complete duties during non-business hours and in times of emergencies
• Travel to other clinics within Calgary and Saskatchewan as required
