About the role:

Our Corridor Maintenance South West team currently have a permanent vacancy for a Facilities Maintainer. Whilst your home station base is Beenleigh, you will start and finish work at Redbank Depot and work as part of a team to conduct corridor vegetation control and grounds maintenance and various station precincts, rail corridor and other QR owned sites throughout the network.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include:

• Be present for daily briefings including important safety information
• Use of a work tablets to review and complete work orders
• Complete mowing, whipper snipping, hedging, and various other vegetation control management, graffiti removal, litter removal, pressure cleaning, etc
• Travel between sites throughout the network

About you:

• Previous experience of conducting vegetation control including the use of whipper-snippers, mowers (preferably zero turn) and other grounds maintenance & small plant & equipment
• Ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• MR licence highly regarded
