The Facilities Electrician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial electrical systems within assigned facilities. This position supports safe, reliable facility operations through preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, system inspections, troubleshooting, and response to electrical equipment failures and operational needs.
This position will support electrical operations at the new NFL stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The facility will host NFL games, concerts, community events, private functions, and other large-scale events. This role will be part of the facilities team responsible for maintaining a safe, reliable, and event-ready environment.
Stadium and Event Responsibilities
· Perform pre-event inspections to verify assigned electrical systems are operational and event-ready.
· Provide electrical troubleshooting and operational support during NFL games, concerts, productions, and other major events.
· Support temporary electrical power and distribution requirements for events, productions, vendors, and other facility users.
· Assist with event power installations, temporary distribution, show power, production requirements, and vendor connections.
· Respond rapidly to electrical issues during events to minimize disruption to facility operations.
· Assist with post-event shutdowns, equipment inspections, and restoration of normal facility configurations.
· Participate in emergency-response activities involving power failures, severe weather, fire alarms, evacuations, and other operational incidents.
· Communicate equipment status and operational risks to stadium leadership and appropriate facility personnel.
· Maintain professional conduct and appearance appropriate for a high-profile, guest-facing venue.
Experience in a stadium, arena, convention center, hospital, airport, manufacturing facility, central plant, or other large, complex facility is preferred. Experience with sports or specialty lighting, theatrical or production power, temporary event power, broadcast-support systems, emergency power, or medium-voltage distribution is also beneficial.
Because this position supports a continuously operating, event-driven facility, availability must align with the stadium's event and operational schedule. Work may include:
· First, second, or rotating shifts
· Evenings, weekends, and holidays
· NFL game days and major event days
· Scheduled overtime
· Emergency call-ins
· Planned electrical shutdowns outside normal business hours
