This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, self-motivated individual with a strong aptitude in electrical engineering to join a professional facilities management team at a world-renowned cancer treatment and research center in Buffalo, NY.
Jumpstart your career and watch the theoretical transform into the applied! As the Facilities Electrical Engineer, you will witness your engineering degree come alive firsthand, in real-time, by working on actual 23kV, 5kV, 480Y/277V, 208Y/120V electrical systems, low voltage systems, and special life safety systems and equipment. No job experience is necessary to succeed. The Facilities Electrical Engineer will have a dedicated professional engineer to assist and guide them throughout their job development. You will acquire design, planning, and construction skills essential to apply for the Engineer-In-Training (EIT) and Professional Engineer exams as your experience grows. Career growth potential exists for the successful candidate.
Starting salary is $78,126.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; or
2. Associate’s degree in Engineering or related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time related professional experience in: facilities management, or maintenance or operations and design, HVAC and plumbing design and specification; or electrical design, specification and project management.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
