Work Shift
Day (United States of America)
Receives information from hospital staff and visitors concerning repairs and unsafe conditions that need attention. Acts
as the liaison between customers and the Facilities department and follows up on repairs and services. Notifies and
reports any dangerous or unsafe conditions to the Safety department and supports Security when needed.
Receives calls from customers and Facilities staff and relays information by page, phone or overhead
intercom. Announces fire drills and activations, all information, and emergency codes via intercom. Reports
elevator issues and/or entrapments to contractor and Facilities. Enters all work-orders into Maximo and
forwards information to mechanics. Follows up with customer to ensure satisfaction of work and services
completed.
Conducts fire-watch in construction areas inside the hospital when life safety protocol is initiated. Records
and reports findings to the Safety department.
Monitors all emergency notifiers for the fire system. Monitors all medical gas alarms, hospital infant alarms
and pneumatic tubing system alarms.
Supports Safety department and answers calls when technicians are out of the office. Checks emergency
phones in elevators.
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
Minimum 1 year customer service experience. Preferred
