Who We're looking for
Copa Health is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Cleaning Technicianto support our clinics, administrative offices, and residential & housing programs. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and compliant environmentfor the members and communities we serve. Facilities Cleaning Technicians perform routine, deep, and urgent cleaning services while adhering to healthcare, residential, OSHA, and infection control standards. This position requires professionalism, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and scheduled deep cleaning tasks
Clean and disinfect restrooms, offices, common areas, kitchens, and residential spaces
Follow infection control and outbreak-response cleaning protocols
Properly handle and dispose of cleaning chemicals and waste per safety regulations
Complete cleaning checklists and required documentation
Maintain janitorial equipment, storage areas, and supplies
Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or sanitation concerns
Support move-in/move-out cleanings and room turnovers
Coordinate cleaning schedules to minimize disruption and maintain privacy
Respond to urgent or special cleaning needs as required
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
At least 1 year of janitorial, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred
Ability to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card within 8 weeks of hire
Ability to reliably report to and travel between assigned work sites
Ability to safely perform physical job duties, including standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and repetitive motion, with or without reasonable accommodation
