The member experience at Altea starts with the space itself. A spotless changeroom. A studio floor that is clean before the next class. A washroom that has clearly been cared for. Members don’t always notice those details consciously, but they feel them. That feeling is what separates a premium experience from an ordinary one, and it is the direct result of someone who takes pride in the building they work in.

The Facilities Associate is one of the most important roles in the club. Your work is part of the experience every member is paying for. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Clean and Maintain the Facility. Changerooms, washrooms, fitness floor, studios, recovery areas, lobby, and common spaces. Every area, every shift, at the Altea standard.

• Stay Ahead of the Club. You move through the building with purpose, addressing what needs attention before a member notices it.

• Handle Chemicals and Equipment Safely. You use cleaning products correctly, follow WHMIS protocols, and operate equipment with care on every shift.

• Work Within the Team. You take direction from the Team Lead Facilities Associate and contribute to a custodial team that keeps the whole club running at its best.

WHO YOU ARE

You don’t need experience in a fitness club. You need to care about doing the job properly, and you need to understand that the space you maintain is part of what makes the member experience at Altea different from anywhere else.

• You take pride in your work without needing anyone to notice. Clean is not a threshold you reach and move on from. It is a standard you hold.
• You are thorough. You don’t rush past the corners, and you don’t leave an area before it is genuinely done. When something needs attention and it is in front of you, you handle it.
• You show up ready, and the people around you are better for it. You pitch in when a teammate needs help, you take feedback well, and you bring the same energy and care to every shift.
• You are reliable. Your team can count on you, and so can every member who walks through the door.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in a custodial, janitorial, or cleaning role is an asset. Full training will be provided
• Comfortable working in a large, active facility with pace and physical stamina throughout a full shift
• Reliable, punctual, and takes genuine ownership of the quality of their work
• Available for a mix of early morning, daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C, maintained annually
• Criminal Background Check required prior to commencement

This role is compensated at a level that reflects the standard we hold and the calibre of person we are looking for. All rates of pay are confidential.
