
Facilities Assistant
We have a great opportunity for a Facilities Assistant!
As the facilities Assistant you will perform a variety of facility maintenance functions to include building/facility maintenance, repair, replacement and/or warehouse duties on structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC and sanitary systems and related equipment and machinery. You will frequently be required to handle; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl. You must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.

Salary Range: $21.01 - $27.98 per hour

Your Challenge:
Supports maintenance mechanics and facilities staff by performing “handyman” maintenance duties such as furniture moves, electrical projects, spot painting and/or cleaning, light construction and/or exterior cleanup.
May work with outside contractors on building and equipment repairs. Operates site equipment as needed, using hand and power tools as necessary.
May perform other activities such as audio-visual (AV) set up for meetings or conferences, inter-office mail deliveries, waste paper recycling, and stocking of employee break areas.
May maintain documentation such as power diagrams, network diagram, space usage, etc. and also assist with the editing of media materials, such as tapes.
May provide support to vendors/contractors such as security force, cafeteria, media relations
Your Expertise:
2 to 3 yrs experience in a facilities role
Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety regulations
High school or equivalent
High initiative
