McCall is looking for a Facilities & Property Manager to take operational ownership of our diverse
property portfolio and keep our environments safe, compliant and running smoothly.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on, senior operational role with responsibility for ensuring McCall’s environments are safe, inclusive, compliant and supportive of everyday life for the people we serve.

You’ll provide oversight of a diverse and meaningful property portfolio, including:

  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes
  • Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
  • Shine Sheds, Day Programs and other community‑based facilities
  • The McCall Community Hub
  • Offices and service delivery locations

Your focus will be on safety, compliance, accessibility and practical maintenance, ensuring each space supports participant dignity, staff wellbeing and community connection and that services can continue without disruption.

What You’ll Bring

  • 6–8+ years’ experience in facilities or property management
  • Management of multiple sites, ideally including residential or supported accommodation
  • Demonstrated experience leading, supervising and supporting employees is required
  • Willingness to travel across all McCall sites, including SIL, SDA and Shine Shed properties. Availability to respond to critical property or safety issues outside standard[BC1] [NH2]
    hours when required.
  • Understands WHS, building compliance, accessibility and risk management
  • Is confident managing contractors and maintenance programs
  • Stays calm, practical and solutions‑focused when issues arise
  • Cares about creating environments that support people and community

Experience in disability, SIL, SDA, community or health services is highly regarded.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
