Expression of Interest: Flexible Roles in Facilities & Property Management

JLL is seeking Expressions of Interest from individuals looking to launch, relaunch, or redefine their careers in facilities and property management to join our dynamic FM On Demand team for casual and part-time opportunities. We are seeking professionals to manage and support diverse facility operations for our clients on an on-demand basis. Your responsibilities will be tailored to your career stage, whether you are building foundational skills, applying established expertise, or applying your seasoned expertise to deliver results with a high degree of autonomy.

In this role, you will contribute to delivering seamless workplace solutions and ensuring properties are compliant, safe, and operating at their best for both short-term and long-term engagements. A background in building services or technical facilities management will be looked upon favourably. Opportunities are available throughout the Auckland metropolitan area, including the CBD, North, West, and South Auckland.

Snapshot of the role:

  • Contribute to or manage key client relationships, acting as a point of contact to ensure service delivery standards and contractual obligations are met.
  • As part of the wider JLL network, you will connect with experts across our business to ensure clients benefit from our firm's collective expertise.
  • Support efforts to ensure property compliance and safety, which can include assisting with health & safety audits, coordinating statutory inspections, and ensuring all building regulations are met.
  • Assist with or oversee building maintenance and performance, from coordinating planned and reactive work to conducting technical inspections and condition assessments.
  • Engage in the performance management of third-party vendors, with responsibilities ranging from hands-on activities like cleaning inspections and vendor escorting to full vendor oversight.
  • Drive and contribute to client sustainability initiatives, focusing on improving energy efficiency, waste reduction, and overall environmental performance.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with, or a strong aptitude for learning, technology platforms used to manage workflows, monitor building performance, and deliver data-driven insights.
  • A motivated, self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel within the Auckland region may be required for certain roles.
