Responsibilities:
Facilities
Under the supervision of the Facilities coordinator:
Act as the main point of contact for all facility-related issues & requests
Coordinate andmonitormaintenance, repairs, & facility operations to ensure smooth daily functioning of the building, being HVAC system themain focus
Liaise with external contractors, vendors & internal teams tomanage services such as cleaning & technical maintenance according to the agreement and Scope of Work.
Liaise with landlord tomonitorall the requirements as per contract.
Support facility projects such as renovations, space planning, and office moves
Maintainaccuraterecords, reports, and documentation related to maintenance, compliance, and operations
Promote a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors.
Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities, insuranceand safety departments whenrequired
Identify, report, and follow up on facility issues, incidents, or emergencies, coordinatingtimelyresolutions.
Perform periodically review all facility-related activities, performance, and issues with theFacilitiesCoordinator to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
Health & Safety
Under the supervision of theEnvironment, Health & safetycoordinator
General supervision, responsible forassistingwith the implementation of CAE’s global HSE strategies,programs,policies, procedures, and processes.
Liaise with the delegated RSPP tomonitorall the Occupational risk prevention requirements as per contract.
Provides recommendations to EHS coordinator tofacilitatecontinuous EH&S performance improvement.
Assistingspecific site/operations safe working programs and practices intended to improve the knowledge, skill and responsibilities that will have a direct effect on reducing accidents or incidents
Assistingactively in the implementation of such programs/procedures following H&S coordinator guidance;
Assisting EHS coordinator and the site/operations manager in accident reporting & investigations.
Assistingactively in the monitoring of contractors/sub-contractors on site/operations and the control of the high-risk activities to prevent severe injury and damage to site/operations or equipment;
Ensuring that all contractors/sub-contractors are approved and meet the necessary EH&S legal requirements.
Assistingon the set up and track Safety & Environmental training requirements that are specifically related to H&S training programs as per legal expectations and CAE H&S standards;
Prepares all necessary documentation to complete work activities
Oracle Entry; I-Proc: Ordering department specific supplies.
Special Project Support.
The core working hours 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri with 1 hour lunch time.
