As a Facilities & Grounds Technician, you’ll help maintain the appearance, safety, and day-to-day functionality of our facility. This role is hands-on, detail-focused, and essential to keeping our operations running smoothly.
Industrial Painting: Prepare surfaces, select appropriate paints, and complete quality painting work throughout the facility.
Routine Maintenance: Perform upkeep on equipment, buildings, and grounds to support a safe and efficient work environment.
Seasonal Support: Assist with snow removal and other seasonal needs to help maintain safe access for employees and visitors.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, and comfortable working independently while supporting a team-focused environment. Helpful skills and qualities include:
Independence & Attention to Detail: Ability to work on your own while maintaining high standards.
Strong Communication: Comfortable interacting with team members, leaders, and others across the facility.
Basic Computer Skills: Ability to use technology to complete daily work orders and related tasks.
Customer Service Mindset: Commitment to providing reliable, helpful support to internal customers.
Troubleshooting Ability: Confidence identifying and addressing basic electrical and mechanical concerns.
Maintenance Versatility: Experience or interest in carpentry, drywall installation, plumbing, masonry, and general repair work.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Related experience or training preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Training: Company-paid Sherwin-Williams training provided upon hire.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of environmental conditions.
