Location: Fort Washington, MD

Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required

Education: BA/BS (or AA/AS and an additional 4 years of experience)

Salary Range: $150 - 160k

Outcomes:

The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes during the first year in the position:

· Formally track all tasks, to include assigned by, suspense, status, and comments on all assigned tasks through completion and be prepared to brief upon request.

· Develop digital continuity folders and files that include standard operating procedures, workflows and POC lists to accomplish all tasks.

· Create 2-3 products beyond the client’s requirements that positively impact the client to either increase efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation.

· Establish foundation in AI/ML skills and contribute to AI/ML operationalization and modernization goals and objectives.

· Master position tasks within 60 days and exceed requirements within 90 days.

Responsibilities:

The Facilities and Equipment Operations SPC provides support to SAF/OC/CDME facilities, space, and property management initiatives. Coordinates facility and property related tasks with installation and engineering offices (i.e., CC A58, SAF/IE, and other stakeholders. Supports workspace analysis, identifying space requirements and comparing them to available capacity. Helps the organization determine current footprint needs. Specific responsibilities per PWS section 1.3.14, Facilities, Planning, and Management) include but are not limited to:

· Conduct surveys, data collection or other analytic activities to support leadership decision making in facilities planning efforts.

· Provide day-to-day functional facility/logistical office support.

· Assist with drafting policies, procedures, operating instructions, guides, or other documents to support the formulation of effective strategies and activities to facilitate facilities management and support functions.

· Assist with implementation of AF facilities management policies, guidance and directives regarding facilities use and planning.

· Assist with support for SAF/OC/OCB personnel in remote or command-hosted locations as required.

· Assist in the development of decision briefings on SAF/OC/OCB facility management activities as requested by the government.

· Assist with coordination and synchronization within SAF/OC/OCB.

· Submit work orders to correct maintenance, facility repairs and deficiencies within the SAF/OC/OCB facilities.

· Maintain accurate and updated seating plans that identify the number of workspaces within facilities by classification levels and all equipment located at each position.

· Assist the SAF OCB Logistics Lead with management of the property book items at SAF/OC/OCB locations.

· Assist in the disposal of excess Department of Defense property, foreign excess personal property, scrap, hazardous waste, and property requiring demilitarization. They will be prepared to assist in completing necessary documents, arranging disposal solutions, and training personnel in disposal turn-in procedures.

· Use government provided Generative AI tools on a day-to-day basis to accelerate tasks, research, documentation, analysis, planning, reporting, and problem solving.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have the following qualifications:

· Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience,

· Minimum of four (4)years of specific functional experience in support of a DoW component.

· Experience in facilities and property supporting activities.

The following qualifications are desired:

· Understanding of DoW operations, structure, and functions, including familiarity with joint military operations, command structures, and/or interagency coordination (desired).

· Knowledge and experience in supporting the disposition of government property, scrap, hazardous waste, and property requiring demilitarization (desired).

· Experience supporting SAF/OC/OCB (desired).

· Air Force support experience (desired).

· Capable of overseeing work of others (desired).

· Knowledgeable in applying Generative AI (desired).

Travel: Local travel within the NCR and Warrenton, VA.
