We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities & Contract Manager to ensure our Narrabeen retirement village operates safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role is essential in maintaining an environment where residents feel confident, comfortable, and supported.
In this role you will:
Oversee the full lifecycle of facilities operations across the village.
Ensure buildings, grounds, and communal areas are well maintained, compliant, and aligned with the Asset Management Plan.
Partner closely with the Regional Manager, Village Managers, Property, Finance, and contractors to deliver safe, sustainable, and cost‑effective services.
Our expectations are that you have:
Strong experience in facilities management, contract management, or asset operations—ideally in a multi‑site or community‑based environment.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in site or facility management, with a demonstrated ability to implement change and lead a high‑performing team.
Experience managing maintenance schedules, compliance requirements, and operational budgets.
High‑level interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to priorities, delegate, and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
