Accountabilities:

· Recommend modifications and requirement changes to facilitate completion of assigned tasks.

· Assist with contractor bids.

· Assist with invoices, financial, filing and other tasks as it relates to projects and facilities

· Contact outside vendors for repairs, when necessary.

· Source materials and equipment with the help of the Facilities Manager as it relates to general maintenance projects within the budget constraints.

· Work within owner proprietary application (WEB/TMA) to plan, schedule and assign work to ensure proper distribution of assignments, equipment, and materials.

· Utilize, support and train others on WEBTMA Database.

· Assist team for productivity and quality of work.

· Keep key managers appraised of issues as it relates to equipment and building systems.

· Establish effective relationships with key managers.

· Enforce guidelines as it relates to MIOSHA General Industry, Department of Agriculture, state local and city codes.

· Contribute to organizational effectiveness by training and offering information, suggestions and recommendations.

· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by completing educational opportunities, reviewing professional publications, benchmarking state of the art practices and networking.

Education, Experience and Skills:

· High school diploma. Preferred grocery experience

· Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills.

· Proficient computer skills in excel, word and email. Able to learn and use a variety of proprietary applications and technology.

· Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.

· Proficient management and leadership skills.

· Proficient maintenance and repair skills.

· Has good working knowledge of power and small tools

· Thinks outside the box; possess critical thinking skills
