Looking to make a meaningful impact on the student experience while supporting online learning? As a Facilitator II, you will work alongside the Primary Instructor and/or Master Facilitator III to support faculty teaching online courses by responding to student questions in a timely manner, grading assignments, holding virtual office hours, and monitoring discussion boards. This flexible position averages approximately 10 hours per week when assigned to a course, with hours varying based on course needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Course and Student Support

  • Grade assignments and enter grades into D2L.
  • Monitor discussion boards and respond to student comments.
  • Respond to student inquiries about course content and/or using D2L, the University's learning management system software.
  • Hold regularly scheduled office hours in a virtual environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher required.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
